The Brixton Pound

The Brixton Pound launched triumphantly at the Assembly Hall, Lambeth Town Hall on Thursday 17 September. B£ 35,000 are now in circulation. More that 120 Brixton businesses accept the B£. Visit http://www.brixtonpound.org

to find out where you can get them, use them, get involved etc.

See a wonderful 5 minute film that captures the atmosphere of the launch and tells the story... and the excellent 3 minute documentary by debateyourplate... and the 2 minute animation that explains how the B£ works... and the 10 minute record of the Mayor of Lambeth's whirlwind B£ shopping trip.
